MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: Nov. 8-12

CHESA, LucidLink and Adobe join together to talk remote production and editing, BuyDRM offers insights into KeyOS deployment, and Women in Technology Hollywood hosts its annual SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit.

Those are just a few of the online events from the MESA community the week of Nov. 8-12, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Wednesday:

• The SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit , presented by Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) https://www.withollywood.org , runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT, and will feature presentations and breakout sessions tackling the impact of bias, both human and algorithmic. The 2020 edition of the SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit saw more than 250 attendees, with more than 70 percent representing the media and entertainment industry and tech-adjacent companies. The event is sponsored by Sutherland, Premiere Digital, Solliance and Converge Technology Solutions.

• CHESA, LucidLink, Adobe and ClickUp will all be together for the “Camera to Cloud – Remote Production and Editing” webinar, featuring a live demonstration including speech to text, editing, motion graphics, audio sweetening, and more.

• “Deploying KeyOS with NexPlayer” will see BuyDRM experts discuss the integration between the KeyOS Content Security Platform and NexPlayer allowing for the playback of encrypted content.
