Signiant Tackles Data Challenges at CWMF

At the 22nd March Content Workflow Management Forum event in London, being held as a hybrid in-person and worldwide virtual event, Signiant and its chief marketing officer Jon Finegold will discuss the tools needed today for media and entertainment to face unique data challenges.

With data moving into and out of the cloud at an exponential rate, the industry dealing with huge files, complex supply chains and growing security challenges, there are several factors to consider when choosing the right tool for today’s unique challenges, said Finegold, whose presentation “Intelligent Cloud I/O: Lessons Learned From Moving Petabytes to and From the Cloud” will lay out the solutions.

“Like most things in media and entertainment, when it comes to cloud I/O our industry has unique requirements and standard tools don’t always do the trick,” he said. “In this presentation we’ll share lessons learned from helping media companies move petabytes of content to and from the cloud.”

As Signiant software is used to move petabytes of content to and from the cloud every month, this session will cover the company’s key learnings and considerations to help make your journey to the cloud a successful one.

Content Workflow Management Forum is produced by MESA, the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), the Hollywood IT Society (HITS) and Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH), under the direction of the CDSA board of directors and its content advisors.

The event is sponsored by Signiant, Whip Media, AppTek, LinQ Media Group, OOONA, ZOO Digital, EIDR and Titles-On.
