MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: April 11-15

Box holds its annual Content Cloud Summit, InvenioLSI and RSG Media hook up to talk streamlining the production finance process, and Diamond’s Joe Devon offers insights into misunderstood aspects of disability in the latest MESA “Lunch and Learn” discussion.

Those are just a couple of the events from the MESA community the week of April 11-15, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar. Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Tuesday:

• “Gracenote: The VOD-like catch up experience – How Liberty Global Raised the Bar for UX” will review the dynamics that are driving consumption of on-demand viewing, looking at the market in general and across Liberty Global services, as well as the “legacy” model where replay TV assets are recorded from linear feeds (with EPG schedules providing the guidance on where to start and stop recording).

Wednesday:

• “Adobe Acrobat Sign 101: Efficient e-Signature Workflows” will offer a practical introduction to the intuitive e-signature tool that has decreased transaction speeds by 30 percent and delivered users an overall ROI of 519 percent. Through expert-led demos, you’ll learn how to use Adobe Acrobat Sign to scan, edit, and send documents for e-signature; use authentication methods for enhanced security; enable signers to review and sign on any device at anytime; manage and track your signature workflows along the way; and get business intelligence on your e-signature transactions.

Thursday:

• Box’s “Content Cloud Summit” takes on the future of work. From product designs to customer contracts and campaign videos, content is your business. Without the right solution, organizations face security risks and a shortage of critical insights. You need one secure platform, and the Content Cloud delivers. Join Box to explore exciting new innovations from the company as you conquer the next frontier of work.

• InvenioLSI and RSG Media team up to present “How to Unlock the Value of Your Content Financial Supply Chain and Streamline Your Production Finance Process.” The entertainment industry’s supply chain is designed to execute repeatable processes, but scaling is its current challenge. Between synchronizing all the data points across the value chain during the entire lifecycle, automating hundreds of business processes around the thousands of transactions, and processing the millions of transactions generated by a greenlighted concept, organizations need integrated and scalable systems, powered by ML, to enable the financial processes critical to their viability.

• Joe Devon, the co-founder of digital agency Diamond, and co-founder of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, will be the next featured speaker April 14 at MESA’s weekly “Lunch and Learn” event.

Join host Richard Atkinson, president of Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), as he welcomes Devon, a serial entrepreneur who has been helping grow the Los Angeles tech ecosystem since 2008. Diamond works with popular networks and studios as a leader in cloud-first development in the streaming media space and consults on digital transformation and development best practices. Devon regularly serves on advisory boards including USC’s IT program, nonprofit organizations, co-working spaces and various conferences.

His April 14 discussion, beginning at noon PT, will tackle “The Most Misunderstood Aspects of Accessibility.” To register, click here.
