Those are just a couple of the events from the MESA community the week of Oct. Oct. 24-28, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Monday:

• The “AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials Day” course is for individuals who seek an overall understanding of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, independent of specific technical roles. You will learn about AWS Cloud concepts, core AWS services, security, architecture, pricing, and support to build your AWS Cloud knowledge. This course also helps you prepare for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam.

Tuesday:

• “A Practical Guide to Ransomware: Immutable Backups with Wasabi + Veritas” will discuss how the best preparation against ransomware is a layered defence built on a foundation of redundant and immutable backups.
