MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: Dec. 5-9

The much-anticipated Content Protection Summit (CPS) arrives in Los Angeles, Zendesk offers advice on how women leaders can stand out in a digital world, and Adobe offers tips and tricks on the PDF front.

Those are just a few of the events from the MESA community the week of Dec. 5-9, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Monday:

• “A Case Study: Protecting Your Hyper Converged Data with Wasabi, HYCU and Nutanix” will answer the question: How do you build a secure data protection strategy for your hyper converged architecture and avoid the increasing costs of the hyperscalers? That’s precisely the challenge Kevin Warenda, IT Director at The Hotchkiss School, tackled. Learn why Kevin selected technologies from Wasabi, HYCU, and Nutanix to build his solution and mitigate the ongoing ransomware threat.

Tuesday:

• Keynotes, panel discussions, and technology showcases at the Content Protection Summit (CPS) will offer senior-level content and information security experts the latest around content protection across the entire supply chain for entertainment. Production security, post-production workflows and the growing ecosystems of platforms and connectivity that are driving the secure content creation and distribution process will all be discussed, along with anti-piracy and IP protection as the industry works collaboratively to secure our most important assets.

• Zendesk presents “Coffee Break: A Guide for Guide — Optimising Self-Service.” In this next iteration of the Coffee Breaks series, attendees will be walked through Zendesk’s self-service building blocks to ensure that you’re leveraging Guide to its full potential. Self-service is the fastest growing part of the support industry, and 86 percent of consumers expect a self-service option from the brands they work with. Not only that—it is also significantly cheaper to resolve your customers’ issues with self-service than with traditional live channels, allowing you to scale for less money while also providing a faster support experience to customers.

• Zendesk’s Women in Leadership series continues with “Standing Out in a Digital World: Keys to Thriving as a Leader.” In a future-is-hybrid climate, leaders today are navigating uncharted territory as they try to advance their careers. In this Women in Leadership event, speakers will discuss how to lead a remote workforce more intelligently and gain the visibility necessary to get to your next step. Executive coach to the Fortune 500, Kelly Decker, will present actionable strategies for effective digital communication; followed by a candid fireside chat with female executives from Shopify, Justworks, and Team4Tech.

Wednesday:

• “Top 5 PDF tips and tricks with Adobe Acrobat” will share just that. Across industries and job functions, PDF is the currency of modern work. It’s how organisations worldwide share vital information that moves business faster. The webinar will offer expert insights to improve and accelerate how your team works with documents. When you need everyone on the same page for document workflows, Acrobat’s got it.

• Palo Alto Networks presents “What’s Brewing In Network Security: ADEM.” It’s undeniable that the digital employee experience has a direct impact on the business’s bottom line. From identifying the root cause of experience issues to self-serve guided remediation for end-users, Palo Alto Networks Autonomous Digital Experience Management (ADEM), natively integrated with Prisma SASE, helps enterprises empower exceptional end-user experiences. Join this webinar to hear Palo Alto Networks SASE Product Evangelist, Neelum Khan, discuss why user experience should be a part of your SASE strategy.

Thursday:

• “Zixi ZEN Master Control Plane for MediaConnect and AWS Services” will see panelists discuss and demonstrate how ZEN Master takes operational control of AWS MediaConnect flows, managing remote AWS Elemental Link encoders to orchestrate and monitor AWS CDI/JPEG-XS uncompressed flows in the cloud to solve complex problems for broadcasters.
