MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: June 5-9

SHI dives into ways to cut costs, Perforce discusses Helix Core deployment in AWS, and AWS hosts its annual Washington D.C. summit.

Those are just a few of the events from the MESA community the week of June 5-9, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Tuesday:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) begins a new AI series with “Decoding Generative AI.” Generative artificial intelligence (AI) is changing how organisations work—from operations to service delivery and everything in between. By the year 2030, the generative AI market is expected to reach $15.7 trillion in value, resulting in a 26 percent increase in global GDP. AWS offers new services to help you write your AI growth story. Building on 20+ years of AI leadership, these generative AI tools make it faster and easier to launch AI applications. Discover how generative AI is reshaping the way organisations reach their audiences; how you can use generative AI to solve key business challenges; new AWS generative AI tools like Bedrock, Titan, Infrastructure and CodeWhisperer that can help you build and scale AI applications rapidly. You’ll also hear directly from AWS experts and be able to ask AI questions in a live Q&A session.

Wednesday:

• AWS kicks off its two-day Summit in Washington D.C. This no-cost event is tailored for the public sector community. Engage in interactive learning, network among public sector industry leaders and AWS experts, engage with partners driving innovation, and so much more.

• Adobe hosts “4 Use Cases for Boosting Productivity with Adobe Acrobat.” Using fewer, better tools can boost productivity and eliminate any friction that slows down projects and frustrates customers. Join this June 7 webinar to discover how today’s Adobe Acrobat is an all-in-one PDF and e-signature solution that empowers teams to create, edit, sign, and track documents from anywhere, on any device. Our Adobe experts will demo key PDF workflows such as: editing PDFs — including text and images; sharing and collaborating on PDFs; using web forms to collect information; and working on PDFs on mobile.

• Perforce presents “How to Deploy & Develop with Helix Core on AWS.” This past March, Perforce became a member of the AWS ISV Accelerate Program and now offers its Enhanced Studio Pack (ESP) for free through the AWS Marketplace. With the ESP, teams can get up and running quickly with a preconfigured environment of Helix Core Version Control, Helix Swarm Code Review, and Hansoft Project Management. Secure, reliable, and efficient, the ESP automates the configuration and deployment of Helix Core for new users on AWS. Join gaming and M&E evangelist Ryan L’Italien and AWS partner solutions architect Lior Berezinski to learn how to easily deploy the Perforce ESP on AWS and how you can take advantage of cloud-specific features, optimise workflows for specific projects and teams, and implement best practices to maximise your cloud investment.

Thursday:

• As part of its “Solve What’s Next” series, SHI hosts “ITAM Strategies to Cut Costs and Pursue Net Zero.” Explore the connection between IT asset management and sustainability, and how they can work together to drive cost savings and environmental responsibility. Discover practical strategies for reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and optimising your organisation’s environmental footprint, ultimately contributing to your Net Zero ambitions. You’ll learn how to leverage ITAM data to drive sustainability goals, implement sustainable IT asset management processes and procedures, track and measure sustainability impact and outcomes, and drive instant energy reduction and cost savings.
