Mark is the Confidentiality Office for the LEGO Group leading a global team with responsibility for protecting Intellectual Properties (IP’s), novelty launches and the LEGO® brand. The team also take accountability for educating and training the organization in the importance of a confidentiality mindset.

He lives in the UK with his wife and has 4 daughters and has a passion for team development, complex change projects and building networks of trusted relationships across cultures.

Mark studied Economics at University followed by securing a CIMA diploma in Management Accounting. His early career involved various accounting roles before he transitioned into Procurement in 2002.

Mark was then with Orange for 9 years most notably leading the UK Procurement and Supply Chain teams with full responsibility for Mobile Phones, Broadband, & Accessories. In 2011 Mark took a consulting role where he led the global sourcing of all media and marketing for Universal Music, frequently leading negotiations in the US, Japan and across Europe.

In 2014, he took over as Global Procurement Director in the LEGO Group with responsibility for marketing materials, in 2018 he switched tracks to lead the implementation of a new digital buying platform globally before taking the position of Confidentiality Officer in 2021
