Vubiquity Tackles the Democratisation of Content at 25 Feb. CWMF Event

The Feb. 25 Content Workflow Management Forum event will see Piers Godden, commercial director, EMEA, for Vubiquity and Amdocs Media, offer up insights around today’s constantly evolving video supply chain, and how to keep pace.

His presentation — “The Democratisation of Content” — will examine how licensing revenue is increasingly under pressure and how material handling costs can sometimes make deals untenable.

“We all know that consumer habits have been changing for some time and that national lockdowns have accelerated the demand for more ‘video,’” Godden said. “As the consumer moves online, so too must the supply chain. SaaS based models are reducing cost and speeding up delivery, so what’s next for the content? The time has come for CaaS ‘Content as a Service’ – the content you want, where you want it, at the flick of a switch.”

He’ll share examples of how failure to innovate in areas like content preparation services can kill your business, and show the path to keeping up with changes to content licensing, processing and distribution.

The Content Workflow Management Forum is produced by MESA, the Smart Content Council, and the Hollywood IT Society, with sponsorship by Whip Media Group, IYuno Media Group, Deluxe, Digital Nirvana, Meta, OOONA, Vubiquity, Nexus TV, Titles-On, EIDR, Keywords Studios and Signiant.
