Camilla Arnold was one of the founders and Creative Director of Flashing Lights Media, an independent deaf-led television production company. Camilla is also an award winning producer and director with documentaries for BBC, Channel 4 and Netflix under her belt. She produced an experimental documentary for BBC, ‘Life and Deaf’, which received rave reviews and picked up a ‘Creative Diversity Network’ award and was nominated for an RTS. Camilla has also produced ‘School of Life and Deaf’ for Channel 4 which was shortlisted for the Griersons and Broadcast Awards. After becoming BBC Studios’ first deaf female series producer, running BBC’s flagship series, ‘See Hear’, for four years, Camilla is now the Chief Executive for the British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust.
