Keynoter at March 8 WiTH Event to Talk ‘Building a Better Person’
Attendees of the March 8 2021 Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) Leadership Awards will also treated to a keynote presentation by Dr. Vivienne Ming, co-founder and CEO of Socos Labs, director of OptoCeutics, chair emeritus for StartOut, and self-described “professional mad scientist.”
Her keynote address — “Building a Better Person” — will see Ming share insights into her personal story of self-doubt, grit and passion to make a difference, and how the challenges she’s faced resulted in a simple goal: to make herself a better person.

WiTH Leadership Winners Announced
The winners of the 2021 Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) Leadership Awards have been chosen by the WiTH Foundation’s Board of Directors, with the four media, entertainment and technology experts set to accept their awards during a March 8 event.
Nicole McMackin, CEO of Irvine Technology Company, Davida Johnson, managing director, UCLA Office of Advanced Research Computing — Data and Technology Solutions, Katie Hinsen, executive producer of dailies and digital intermediate for Nice Shoes, and Christina Aguilera, head of creative engineering for Amazon Studios, were selected based on their service as technology-career role models and mentors in their communities, and for helping to empower other women to be bold leaders. Getting to Know the 2021 WiTH Foundation Leadership Awards Nominees
Four winners will be chosen out of eight candidates for the 2021 Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) Leadership Awards, scheduled to be presented March 8, in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
Attendees of the event will also be treated to a keynote presentation and a charity panel, before the awards presentation. The WiTH Foundation will be donating 100 percent of all revenues from Awards sponsorships to local charity organizations that consistently deliver on the goals as the organization, which include professional development, mentoring and networking, and community engagement.

WiTH Foundation Names 8 Leadership Awards Nominees
Women in Technology: Hollywood (WiTH), an organization that serves as a catalyst for the advancement of women in entertainment technology, has named eight nominees for the 4th Annual WiTH Leadership Awards scheduled to be presented on March 8, in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
Nominations are based on these executive’s service as technology-career role models and mentors in their communities, empowering women executives to be bold leaders.
