Chris Kuelling is the Executive Director of the International Broadcaster Coalition Against Piracy Inc. (www.ibcap.org), an industry association representing 130+ television channels targeting the piracy of international video content. Members include Sony, TV5 Monde, TV Globo, beIN Sports and Willow Cricket. Services include copyright registration, monitoring and detection through a dedicated piracy lab, DMCA notices, dealer investigations and consumer awareness campaigns. IBCAP also provides litigation support to copyright infringement actions initiated by IBCAP members.
Prior to IBCAP, Chris served as a Senior Vice President with DISH where he was instrumental in launching SlingTV and responsible for their international channel business including all content acquisition, marketing, and strategic partnerships. Chris’ experience includes serving as the lead programming attorney for the DISH programming department and licensing sports rights while based in The Netherlands. He received his B.A. from Colgate University and law degree from Washington & Lee University.
