Sahand currently serves as Executive Director of Content Strategy & Analysis at The Walt Disney Company, overseeing data architecture, business intelligence, consumer research, and content strategy and analysis for the ABC Owned Television Stations. Prior to this role, he led digital strategy across Disney/ABC Television Group, where he helped develop the strategic business plan for Disney+ among other high profile projects.
Prior to Disney, Sahand worked in Corporate Strategy at Mattel, building out their direct-to-consumer plan, relaunching its e-commerce business, and leading technology strategy across VR/AR, AI, robotics, and coding.
Prior to Mattel, Sahand successfully launched and sold an e-commerce company, and worked in sponsored debt / bankruptcy acquisitions at B. Riley Financial. He started his career in private equity at PCG Capital Partners, a middle-market investment firm with $17 billion AUM.
Sahand holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, and graduated with six majors: Managerial Analytics, Decision Sciences, Finance, Management & Strategy, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. Sahand also graduated Honors with Highest Distinction from University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Management Science and minor in Mathematics.
